AYSO runs on the power of our volunteers! With over 100,000 parents, neighbors, relatives, and friends lending their time and talents, each child gets a terrific AYSO experience. Help make a difference in the lives of the kids in your community today!

Volunteer Positions (signup in SportsConnect):
1. Coaches - Teach soccer fundamentals, sportsmanship, and teamwork in a fun, positive environment. Coaches receive full training and support from AYSO.
2. Team Managers - Support coaches and teams by coordinating schedules, communications, and snacks, and helping organize game-day logistics.
3. Sponsors - Provide financial or material support to help fund player scholarships, equipment, and field improvements. Recognition opportunities are available.
4. Referees(training required) - Officiate matches to ensure safe, fair, and fun play. AYSO provides referee training and certification to volunteers.
5. Board Members - Support the ongoing operation of the region by helping make decisions, organize events, and coordinate key programs throughout the season.

No Training Volunteer Positions (These roles count toward your volunteer point requirements and are essential to smooth game-day operations):
1. Set-up and tear down - Help prepare and remove field equipment before and after games, such as goals, nets, and corner flags.
2. Field Monitors - Ensure games run safely and smoothly by monitoring sidelines, assisting with equipment, and reporting issues to board members.
3. Volunteer/Referee Support - Will help sign in all volunteers, support region staff, collect game cards, and on down time will monitor nearby fields.

Remember, our competitive teams (10U and above) require volunteer and referee points to maintain your standings and qualify for playoffs. To earn your points please sign up as a volunteer and review and complete the referee requirements and training.

 In order to qualify for Area post-season play, a team must complete a minimum number of referee and volunteer assignments. The table below defines minimum requirements in each division.

If you have never volunteered, don't be intimidated! We have a wonderful crew of board members and volunteers to help you help others.
