On behalf of the regional board, I want to welcome you to AYSO Region 363 either as a  returnee or as a newcomer to the Fall 2023 soccer and hope that you enjoy being a part of  the ever-growing AYSO family. 

Our program is based on the six AYSO philosophies – Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, and Player Development. By applying these philosophies, each player has the same opportunity to experience the game and improve their skills no matter their skill level. 

Unlike other sport organizations, AYSO is run completely on Volunteer Power. All  volunteers contribute their time without monetary compensation. Based on the efforts of  the regional board that works tirelessly during and off our soccer season, we have been  able to assemble approximately 100 coaches, 50 assistant coaches, and 60 referees to create one of the best youth soccer programs for the kids to have a fun, fair and safe game of soccer. 

Check out the calendar on our website for a list of events and important dates during the season. We always need more volunteers and humbly ask that everyone volunteers in some capacity. By participating, you show our players that you support them, encourage them to become better players. 

We encourage parents and volunteers to always be positive and supportive to the players. As adults, we are role models to our children as they learn from our actions. It is also equally important to be supportive of the coaches and positive toward the referees. You may not agree with a coach or referee decisions, but it is important to remember they are the foundation of our volunteer staff and without them we would not be able to provide a soccer program. 

AYSO provides training for all volunteer positions, meaning that no prior experience is  required for any of the roles. More information on referee and coach volunteering can be  found on our website at: www.moorparkayso.org
