Where to start?  Its as easy as 1-2-3!!
Instructions below

Step 1
Coaches must register every year, Coaches will not receive their rosters until they have registered and are cleared by AYSO. The clearance process can take up to 2 WEEKS so please don't wait.

Step 2
Coaches must be have completed Safe Haven and be CDC Concussion Certified or they will not receive their team’s uniforms until they have completed it.

Step 3
Coaches must be age specific certified by the first Saturday in October. Teams without a certified coach by the deadline will not be permitted to participate in Region, Area, or Section playoffs.
Instructions for steps 1-2-3

Please Register as a volunteer TODAY, go to our website, and log into your account, click on the “Volunteer” Button on the left and then the “Volunteer Roles” on the top right, then “Select” Head Coach in the division that your child plays, follow the prompts, be sure to esign and submit, and continue all the way to the end.  If this is your first time please be sure to complete the Volunteer Verification form.

In order for you to be covered by our supplemental insurance which covers us from personal law suits when involved with an AYSO event, every volunteer must complete Safe Haven and also Concussion Certification every (with-in) 2 years, 2016 or later. Allow 30-45 minutes. These certifications can be found on the AYSOU website or go to and choose the AYSOU tab, you will need your user name and password, same as your BlueSombrero account that you used to register your player. Once in choose the "My Courses" tab, look for the Safe Haven tab and then the CDC Concussion tab.

Coaches must be "Certified" in the level they are coaching-More below.There is a huge list of classes on the AYSOU website, again you will need your user name and password, same as your BlueSombrero account that you used to register your player.

Go to "Live Courses" click on the division you are Coaching "10U Coach"  (U6, U8 (includes U7), U10, 12U, 14U, Referee). The classes are FREE as long as you take them locally. Click the blue description line for complete information AND then the Register button if you find one that you can attend.

*U6, U8 and U10 coach training is offered on-line; however, full coach certification for U10 requires a field portion to be completed as well.

Coach Certification Levels

The required training levels are:

• U5/U6: U6 Coach
• U7/U8: U8 Coach
• U10: U10 Coach
• U12: U12 Coach
• U14: Intermediate Coach
• U16/19: Advanced Coach

Consussion Awareness
(Every 2 yrs) Training can be completed on-line by going to the AYSOU tab above

Safe Haven Training
  (Every 2 yrs) can be completed on-line by going to the AYSOU tab above

Game & Referee Points for U10 - U14 teams
Each U10 - U14 teams participating is required to provide at least one qualified referee to support the program.

Team standings are on based on points for games played, (3) points for a win, (1) for a tie, (0) for a loss,
plus up to two (2) points per week for referee participation.

Teams not meeting the minimum requirement of (1) point per week will not qualify for post-season play.
