2013 Coaches Meeting and Coach Training Classes coming July/August. Check back for further info.
Coaches must have a current volunteer form on file. Coaches will not receive their rosters until they have completed a volunteer form. Coaches must be Safe Haven certified and they will not receive their team’s uniforms until they have completed the AYSO Safe Haven course. Coaches must be age specific certified by the date specified by Section 10 (usually the first Saturday in October). Your Division Coordinator will advise you of this deadline. Teams without a certified coach by the deadline will not be permitted to participate in Region, Area, or Section playoffs. The required training levels are: • U5/U6: U6 Coach • U7/U8: U8 Coach • U10: U10 Coach • U12: U12 Coach • U14: Intermediate Coach • U16/19: Advanced Coach
Coach Training courses are offered in AREA E through out July and August to provide you the schedule flexibility you may need to obtain your age appropriate certification for the season. Course schedule listings can be found by logging into www.eayso.org and selecting My eAYSO->Course Sign-up to view and register for a training class. Safe Haven Training can be completed on-line by going to the AYSO Training Webpage. *U6, U8 and U10 coach training is offered on-line; however, full coach certification for U6 - U10 requires a field portion to be completed.
